The MASC team is responsible for developing and deploying state-of-the-art modeling tools and model-based development workflow that are used by Carrier’s global engineering centers for air-conditioning and refrigeration component and system design.

The incumbent will have responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Provide heat transfer and thermodynamics expertise in the development of next generation high efficiency and environmentally friendly HVAC/R systems.
• Develop and execute detailed project plans.
• Perform air-conditioning and refrigeration component/system modeling tasks including model requirement development, model test plan creation and model development, verification & validation.
• Design and conduct equipment qualification testing in labs.

Communicate with Controls, Product Engineering, and global teams in understanding customer needs from different perspectives.
