About the role

Carrier has an opening for an experienced Control Algorithm Engineer based in Shanghai, China. The team is responsible for developing and deploying state-of-the-art dynamic modeling and controls tool that are used by global engineering centers for Carrier’s air-conditioning and refrigeration system design and controller development.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Control Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Provide expertise in Fundamental analytical skills on control theory
• Lead Control algorithm development, control system architecture design and controller verification process like Model-in-the-Loop (MiL), Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) processes
•  Participate in global multidisciplinary projects, ensuring on-time and high quality deliverables
• Other work items arranged by supervisor

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• MS or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical or Control Engineering with 0+ year experience.
• Fluent English (both written and spoken) and excellent communication skills.
• Fundamental analytical skills on control theory
• Hands on experience of control system development
