Summary

Experienced Accountant. Responsible for analyzing and managing the costs associated with the company's production processes. Work closely with the finance and production teams to ensure accurate cost reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Play a key role in helping the company optimize its production costs and improve profitability.

Job Description

• Cost Analysis: Analyze various costs related to production, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies for cost reduction.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual costs against budgeted costs and provide variance analysis.
• Cost Reporting: Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of cost information.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory costs. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Standard Cost Development: Develop and maintain standard costs for products and services. Update standard costs based on changes in production processes or market conditions.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization. Collaborate with production and procurement teams to implement cost-effective solutions.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies related to cost accounting. Assist in internal and external audits as required.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Provide insights and recommendations based on cost data and financial performance.

Minimum Requirements
Requires advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience
Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work
University Degree or equivalent
A minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience
OR
An advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience
