About the role

Senior General Engineering professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise. Independently manages multiple complex engineering projects or processes and leads cross functional teams. Creates and implements common procedures and standards, provides guidance and mentorship to less senior employees and acts as a technical expert.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Mgr, Program Mgmt, you’ll be responsible for:

Program Ownership & Execution

  • Own end‑to‑end program delivery from concept through launch and post‑launch stabilization
  • Develop and maintain integrated program plans covering scope, schedule, cost, quality, and dependencies
  • Drive disciplined execution against defined milestones, ensuring alignment with product launch commitments
  • Proactively identify and manage program risks, issues, and trade‑offs, escalating with clear options and recommendations

Cross‑Functional & Regional Leadership

  • Lead cross‑functional teams across software, controls, systems, hardware, quality, operations, and sourcing
  • Coordinate execution across Asia sites (China, Japan, Thailand) and global stakeholders
  • Act as the primary interface between regional teams and global product / platform owners
  • Ensure clarity on roles, responsibilities, and decision ownership across the program

Supplier & Partner Program Management

  • Manage programs involving external partners and suppliers (e.g., ODMs, software vendors, test partners)
  • Ensure supplier delivery aligns with contractual commitments, quality standards, and program timelines
  • Drive issue resolution, recovery plans, and performance reviews with partners

Governance, Reporting & Communication

  • Establish and run program governance (reviews, steering meetings, decision forums)
  • Provide clear, concise, and data‑driven program reporting to COE leadership and executives
  • Communicate program status, risks, and decisions effectively across technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Ensure alignment with COE operating models, change management, and escalation processes

Continuous Improvement & Transformation

  • Apply best practices in program management, including Agile / Hybrid models where appropriate

  • Improve execution rigor, predictability, and transparency across software and controls programs

  • Support strategic initiatives such as in‑house capability build‑up, platform reuse, and software‑defined product transformation

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

  • Requires advanced to expert knowledge obtained through advanced education, combined with experience
  • Substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems to make enhancements within job area
  • University Degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of 7 years prior relevant experience
  • OR
  • An advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience
