About the role

• Responsible for developing and deploying state-of-the-art modeling tools

  and model-based development workflow that are used for Carrier’s air-conditioning and refrigeration component and system design. It also takes charge of developing

  sales tools for global business units.

• Project managment to get alignment on customer needs and commit on-time delivery of tools with high quality.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Modeling Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Provide heat transfer and thermodynamics expertise in the development of next generation high efficiency and environmentally friendly HVAC/R systems

• Develop and execute detailed project plans. 

• Perform air-conditioning and refrigeration component/system modeling tasks including model requirement development, model test plan creation and model verification & validation.

• Communicate with Marketing, Product Engineering, and global teams in understanding customer needs from different perspectives.

• Program to resolve data conduction and analysis

Requirements

• As a minimum you must have:
• BS degree in thermal, refrigeration and air-conditioning, power Engineering, fluid machinery or engineering mechanics with 3+ year experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across functions.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills in a global team
