Job Responsibilities
- Champion the implementation of the revolutionary digital process for Shanghai factories serving as the in key point of contact. Ensure coordination between cross-functional teams within Asia, act as change manager for any system to be implemented in Shanghai Factory.
- Support Asia leader for any new system introduction for Shanghai factories.
- Identify any opportunity that may change or transform the shanghai factories business to be more efficient.
- Bring innovative idea on how to best leverage technology to drive the business transformation for Shanghai factory business.
- Partner with the shanghai factories business executive and leadership team by recommending and prioritizing DT investments and projects that support the Factory strategic business initiatives.
- Support DT strategies for Shanghai factories business to simplify and standardize back-office operation processes, digital innovation and mitigate compliance and cybersecurity risks.
- Support the Shanghai factories business digital technology organization to build advanced infrastructure and application capabilities to enhance DT operational efficiency and digitalization transformation.
- Work closely with DT professionals and Center of Excellence tower leads within the company to ensure alignment on solution, standards, resources, budget for project execution as well as achieving operation excellence.
- Play project management to successfully execute initiatives and delivery the committed business outcome.
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of emerging DT technologies and methodologies. Identify appropriate DT technologies & service delivery, approaches for the factories that consider external benchmark and best practice.
- Manage suppliers in terms of contract negotiation, service level fulfillment, development, deployment, and operation support.
Success Measures
- Identify opportunities to improvement factories process and make long term DT plan
- Leverage technologies to enable factories transformation strategy as agreed with business with clear tactic plan
- Support regional leaders to drive the digital transformation and build roadmap for system landscapes based on the input from factories
- Timely deliver all the programs for shanghai factories in China with good quality and budget control
- Drive factories change management via DT enablement
- Drive factories value realization of the DT program delivered
- Ensure digital operational excellence with targeted SLA, timely fix daily issues
- Received good feedback from stakeholders with close bonding
- Business user satisfaction rate meet targeted objective
- Manage investment and spending within budget
- Well influence the matrix team to deliver the results
Qualifications / Skills
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical as well as problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve goals.
- Proactive, self-motivated and a team player.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and project management skills.
- Proven track record in successfully implementing ERP(such as SAP PP,BAAN LN), MES/MOM, APS, labor management, TMS/WMS/QMS, TPM, RPA, Lean manufacturing systems, BI/data lake/AI, factory automation, IIOT, edge computing, digital twins, other operation technologies in the manufacturing industry offering complex configurable products. And good knowledge in cloud technology (AWS, Ali Cloud).
- Sharp business understanding of use cases within Discrete Manufacturing industry(Commercial HVAC industry would be better)
- Proven experience in management of outsourced vendors during project implementation, system integration and support.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills, strong presentation skills, and the ability to effectively interact with people at all levels.
Education, Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience related to IT Management or other information technology. At least 5 years of senior role in a multi-national company with a regional responsibility.
