About the role

• We are seeking a SeniorEmbedded Software Engineer who can contribute across both software and firmware development on Embedded Linux platform. The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing embedded firmware and applications for HVAC control products.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Sr. Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Responsible for embedded software design and coding by C/C++ language
• Able to utilize Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles and the C++ programming language to develop control services and algorithms for Linux controller device
• Work with global software team on global Agile software development process and CI/CD DevOps) implementation
• Conduct unit testing (GTEST or other relevant frameworks)
• Collaborate with a global software team to implement DevOps practices, employing Docker, Conan, CMake, and SonarQube
• Experience in Qt, Python or other tools (For example: AI tools) will be a plus
• Partner with system and cross-functional teams to comprehend and define software requirements specifications (SSRD and SRS)
• Collaborate with control algorithm and QA engineers to integrate software, resolve issues, and facilitate releases
• Provide service and maintenance support in laboratory, factory, and field environments

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics Engineering,
• Computer Engineering or related majors, and 3 or more years’ experience is preferred.
