About the role

Team member of the Large Chiller Development organization.

Responsible for engineering development of chiller system technologies, to best meet the global market needs by integrating multiple technologies in the product.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Sr System Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Thermodynamic based modeling and optimization of chiller system design;
• Develop chiller system architecture that meets or exceeds the product development requirements;
• Develop heat exchanger components in collaboration with heat transfer technology experts;
• Confirm product design performance, capability and reliability in the engineering product test laboratory;
• Collaborate with the compression development team to seamlessly integrate the compressor
• design into the chiller design;
• Collaborate with manufacturing faculties to effectively implement design into production;
• Collaborate with the product marketing teams globally to develop product requirements and that the product their meets their needs when launched.

Requirements

• As a minimum you must have:
• MS in Refrigeration Engineering / Power engineering / Turbo machinery / heat transfer or other related engineering
• 6 to 10 years of experience in any above technology area, including graduate research experience if correlated
• Proficiency with MS Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel VBA. Experience with FORTRAN/C/MatLab/Python software for engineering simulation, optimization and data analysis capability preferred.
• English skills - oral, reading and writing fluently, CET-6 must.
• Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external
• customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
