About the role

Experienced Mechanical Engineer, overseeing product development and testing activities. Responsible for driving improvement in design and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

As a stuff motor engineer, she or he will be responsible for:

• Support compressor NPD projects and lead on motor design, governance motor development on time on budget.
• Coach and support junior motor engineer capability development
• Take lead on motor related Sch-B/C/Q projects or requests
• Take lead and collaborate with SYR compressor team on compressor certifications.

Requirements

As a minimum must have:

• Have master’s degree with 10+ years related working experience, or bachelor’s degree with 13+ years related working experience.
• Have 5+ years working experience as main contributor or lead role for motor development whole cycle, including process of design, manufacture, validation.
• Able to deep DIVE issues during either motor development phase or from jobsites, with open mine and cross-function collaboration spirit to solve the problem.
