About the role
The Sourcing Project Manager is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier selection and performance, driving cost‑reduction initiatives, and supporting new product/project launches.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Sourcing Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
Sourcing Strategy & Supplier Management|采购战略与供应商管理
- Develop mid‑ to long‑term sourcing and supply base strategies with regional/WHQ commodity teams.
与区域/总部商品团队协作,制定中长期采购及供应基地规划。 - Identify, select, evaluate, and develop suppliers; build and maintain qualified and strategic supplier systems.
负责供应商的搜寻、选择、评估及战略供应体系建设。 - Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and manage supply risks proactively.
管理关键供应商关系,识别并降低供应风险。
New Project & R&D Support|新项目及研发支持
- Work closely with R&D to support new material sourcing, supplier nomination, RFQ, and project launch.
协同研发团队完成新物料寻源、RFQ、供应商选型及项目导入。 - Ensure accurate communication of technical specifications, drawings, and quality requirements to suppliers.
准确传达技术规范、图纸及质量要求,确保物料符合项目及客户需求。
Cost Management & Negotiation|成本管理与谈判
- Lead commodity price negotiation and cost structure analysis to achieve annual cost‑saving targets.
主导价格谈判及成本结构分析,完成年度降本目标。 - Drive continuous cost‑down initiatives, including price negotiation, VAVE, logistics optimization, etc.
推动持续降本项目(价格、VAVE、物流及其他方式)。
Supplier Performance & Risk Control|供应商绩效与风险管控
- Conduct supplier capacity analysis and address delivery risks, shortages, and alternative sourcing solutions.
分析供应商产能,解决交付风险、缺料及替代方案。 - Track supplier performance and lead supplier improvement, phase‑in, or phase‑out plans when needed.
跟踪供应商绩效,推进供应商改善、引入或退出。 - Support supplier quality improvement with SQE, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
配合 SQE 推动供应商质量改善及纠正/预防措施。
Requirements
As a minimum you must have:
Education|教育背景
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical, Electronic, or related engineering disciplines.
本科及以上学历,机械、电子或相关专业优先。
Experience|工作经验
- 5+ years of strategic sourcing, cost analysis, or pricing experience in Tier‑1 HVAC or related industries.
5 年以上暖通行业一线品牌战略采购或核价经验。
Professional Knowledge & Skills|专业技能
- Strong knowledge of sourcing processes and cost control principles.
精通采购开发流程及成本控制。 - Experience with commodities such as motors, PCBA, chips, sheet metal, plastic parts, and molds.
具备电机、PCBA、芯片、钣金、塑胶及模具相关经验。 - Familiar with injection molding, stamping, CNC processes, and tooling investment analysis (ROI, Payback).
熟悉注塑、冲压、数控工艺及模具投资分析。
Computer Skills|系统与工具
- Proficient in ERP systems and office software; familiar with e‑bidding concepts.
熟练使用 ERP 及办公软件,了解电子招标逻辑。
Language|语言能力
- Basic to good English reading and writing capability.
具备基本英文读写能力。
Competencies|能力素质
- Strong communication, logical thinking, and learning ability.
优秀的沟通、逻辑思维及学习能力。 - Data‑driven mindset with solid analytical skills (e.g. should‑cost models).
具备数据分析能力,如 should cost。 - Experience in supplier performance management is a plus.
具备供应商绩效综合管理经验者优先。
