About the role
- Work with WHQ/Regional commodity team to set up the supply base in a long/mid term development and growing strategy (5%)
- To identify, develop and drive sourcing strategies and saving initiatives from the responsible category materials.
- Negotiation on commodity price and analyze cost structure break down, benchmarks etc. to make sure the material (SchA) productivity in yearly KPI target;(5%)
- Closely work with R&D team, support new project supplier selection strategy and RFQ, to help the new products/materials could be able to smooth and quick launch. (60%)
- To follow up Passport process, in charge of sourcing from product definition/sizing, sourcing recommendations/decision, inquiry, samples, quality testing, final price negotiation and delivery support etc.(20%)
- To develop and maintain the positive relationship with internal customers and external suppliers.(10%)
- To work with SQE and support the continuous quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Sr Assoc, Supply Chain Mgmt , you’ll be responsible for:
- Responsible new source research, selection and evaluation. Analyze/set up supply strategy and build up the fair and qualified supply system.
- Work along with R&D/qualify to develop new supplier/new materials introduction.
- RFQ, Correctly pass technical specification and quality requirement and provide the latest drawing to supplier.
- Responsible for supplier annual contract review, includes cost down plan, DPO, delivery lead time and LTA renew/sign.
- Delivery support, Supplier capacity analysis, identify supplier delivery bottleneck, push the components shortage supply/alternative parts qualification.
- Improve the continuous materials cost down, i.e price negotiation ,VAVE, logistic etc.
- Support and involve the VAVE projects which is leaded by engineering.
- Keep timely tracking the raw materials market price and quality status.
- Keep tracking supplier performance, identify the supply risk and build up the supplier management plan which includes supplier development, introduction, management and phase out.
- Support the cross-functional teams to push the supplier quality improvements, root cause analysis and correct/preventive actions.
Requirements
As a minimum you must have:
- Bachler degree above, electronic/injection/mechanical major or similar category working experience.
- Familiar sourcing process and should be cost control. Solid experience in sourcing compressor, motor, PCBA, sheet-metal, packing etc. Familiar in mechanical/plastic components, with latest tracking the market status Strong cost sense.
- Above 5 years sourcing experience,3-5 years strategic sourcing experience.
- Skillful in SAP, excel and PPT, deep understanding the e-bidding.
- Fluent English in oral, write, listen.
- Excellent communication, logic thinking and good at the negotiation; Good at data analysis
